Walt’s Day 2

I think I may have figured out what Walt’s superpower is.  The ability to slow the process of work.  I can’t even explain it.  It doesn’t matter how much energy I have, or how good my intentions are, he just bombards me with “ok wait, let’s think about this”, or “you know, we could…”.   Followed by 10 minutes of filibuster.  I think I am probably just going to stab him when he’s not looking.

The best part of this project is that Jillian is making food and snacks all the time.  Tonight, before we got started we had homemade pizza with double pepperoni.  She also made homemade peanut butter cookies.  Dinner saved Walt from getting stabbed.

Tonight we tore it all apart.   I don’t even know where to start with all the problems we found.   First that plastic crap was a pain to get off the walls.   It was held up with all this metal strips which were nailed about every 4 inches.

This is what what under the plastic crap.   A real treat.   There never was a time that this wall paper looked good.   Never.  Walt almost got stabbed just because of this.

We tore out everything but the shower, so that he could take a shower.

Aww thanks for the mention! And you are totally dead-on about Walt. So now you understand what I was talking about when I said we slept in the living room for six months during the bedroom remodel!

Hope you both survive this. You obviously need John down there to keep things moving along smoothly.
